Qur'an 67:3 Al-Mulk
[And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?

What it says
Tibaq is layering, one thing set flush over another like the plies of a binding. Tafawut is disparity, the gap between parts that were meant to meet, and its denial is not a claim that the creation is uniform but that nothing in it is out of true. The sentence then stops describing and hands over an instruction and a question: look again, and report a flaw if one is there.
