Qur'an 2:22 Al-Baqarah
[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].

What it says
The command to worship is backed by a list of what this Lord has done: made the earth a settled surface, the sky a structure overhead, sent down water, and brought out fruit by it as provision. The verse then forbids setting up rivals to Allah, adding pointedly that this is done while knowing better: the wrongness named here is not from ignorance.
