Qur'an 2:117 Al-Baqarah

Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is.

Saheeh International

What it says

Badi', Originator, names Allah as the one who brought the heavens and the earth into being without a prior model. What follows is the mechanism: when He decrees a matter, He only says to it be, and it is, no material and no interval between the word and the thing.
