Qur'an 2:112 Al-Baqarah

Yes [on the contrary], whoever submits his face in Islam to Allah while being a doer of good will have his reward with his Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

What it says

Against both claims in the previous verse, the answer given is not membership in a group but an act: whoever submits his face to Allah, doing good, has his reward with his Lord, with no fear over him and no grief. The condition is named twice, submission and excellence together, not one without the other.
