Qur'an 73:5 Al-Muzzammil
إِنَّا سَنُلْقِى عَلَيْكَ قَوْلًۭا ثَقِيلًا
Indeed, We will cast upon you a heavy word.
Saheeh International
What it says
The reason the night is being asked for. Alqa is to throw a thing down onto a surface, and the weight is announced before the thing is named. A qawl thaqil is speech with mass in it, and the night standing is preparation for carrying it.
