Qur'an 68:17-18 Al-Qalam

Indeed, We have tried them as We tried the companions of the garden, when they swore to cut its fruit in the [early] morningWithout making exception.

What it says · verse 17

The address turns from one man to the deniers as a group, and the argument becomes a story. Their trial is matched to the trial of some owners of a garden who swore an oath over their harvest. Neither the people nor the place is named, and what the verse keeps is the oath and the hour it was sworn for.
