Qur'an 78:1 An-Naba

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

About what are they asking one another?

Saheeh International

What it says

The surah opens on a question about a question. People were arguing among themselves about something, and instead of naming it in the first line the verse points at the noise they are making and asks what all of it is for. The verb is the reciprocal form, people questioning each other back and forth, not people asking someone who knows.
