Qur'an 78:6-9 An-Naba
Have We not made the earth a resting place? And the mountains as stakes? And We created you in pairsAnd made your sleep [a means for] rest

What it says · verse 6
The proof of the coming Day begins here, and it begins under the reader's feet. The question is rhetorical and expects a yes, and everything from this verse to verse 16 is a single list of things already given, offered as evidence that the giver can do the thing being denied.
