Qur'an 59:18 Al-Hashr

O you who have believed, fear Allah. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.

What it says

The verse turns from the account of Banu an-Nadir to a direct address, the first in the surah aimed at the believers themselves. Fear of Allah frames both ends of the sentence, and between the two commands sits a single instruction: look at what has already been sent ahead for tomorrow, as though the record were something a person could go back and check now.
