Qur'an 92:18-21 Al-Layl

[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himselfAnd not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewardedBut only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High. And he is going to be satisfied.

What it says · verse 18

The definition of the second man, and this time the thing given is named. Not a surplus and not a portion described as small, but his wealth, and the clause at the end says the giving is done to clean the giver rather than to relieve the receiver.
