Qur'an 82:10 Al-Infitar
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ لَحَٰفِظِينَ
And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers,
Saheeh International
What it says
The denial is answered with a fact about the room rather than an argument. Whatever you make of the reckoning, there are keepers assigned to you, and the word alaykum places them above rather than alongside.
