Qur'an 76:1 Al-Insan

Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?

Saheeh International

What it says

Hal is a question in form and a statement in effect, and the answer it expects is yes, it did come. What came is a stretch of time in which the human being was not a thing anyone named. The surah opens by putting a person at the point before he existed, and nothing is asked of him yet.
