Qur'an 74:1-7 Al-Muddaththir

O you who covers himself [with a garment],Arise and warnAnd your Lord glorifyAnd your clothing purifyAnd uncleanliness avoidAnd do not confer favor to acquire moreBut for your Lord be patient.

What it says · verse 1

The address is by posture, not by name. The Prophet ﷺ is called by the state he is in at that moment, a man under a wrap. Muddaththir is the one who has drawn a dithār over himself, the outer covering thrown on for sleep or for cold, and the command in the next verse takes him out from under it.
