Qur'an 63:1 Al-Munafiqun
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.

What it says
The hypocrites come to the Prophet ﷺ and say the correct words: they testify that he is the messenger of Allah. The verse does not dispute the sentence, since Allah already knows it is true; it disputes the men who say it. The closing clause turns their own verb, bear witness, back on them, so that what Allah testifies to is not the truth of their statement but the falseness of their saying it.
