Qur'an 62:2 Al-Jumu'ah
It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error -

What it says
Names the mission behind the glorifying just declared: a messenger raised up among the ummiyyin, those without a prior scripture of their own, and drawn from among them rather than sent from outside. The mission runs in a fixed order, reciting the verses first, then purifying, then teaching the Book and wisdom, instruction following recitation rather than the reverse. The closing clause states what stood before him, open error, not a flawed guidance but its absence.
