Qur'an 60:8 Al-Mumtahanah
Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.

What it says
The prohibition on allying with Allah's enemies is not a prohibition on kindness toward everyone outside the faith. Allah does not forbid dealing well and justly with people who have not fought the believers over religion or driven them from their homes; He loves those who act justly, without narrowing that love to believers alone.
