Qur'an 60:7 Al-Mumtahanah
Perhaps Allah will put, between you and those to whom you have been enemies among them, affection. And Allah is competent, and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

What it says
After the command to break with hostile enemies, the surah leaves room for the relationship to change: Allah may yet put affection between believers and people they currently count as enemies. The possibility is anchored in two of Allah's names, powerful enough to bring it about and forgiving enough to let past hostility be set aside.
