Qur'an 96:14 Al-'Alaq
أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
Does he not know that Allah sees?
Saheeh International
What it says
The three suppositions end in one question, and it is about knowledge rather than about punishment. The man is not told what will happen to him. He is asked whether he understood that he was being watched the whole time.
