Qur'an 86:4 At-Tariq
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌۭ
There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
Saheeh International
What it says
This is what the oath was sworn to establish. Not most souls and not the ones that matter to somebody. Every soul, and the sentence is built as a negation with an exception so that no reader can quietly place himself outside it.
Word by word
إِن in not · كُلُّ kullu every · نَفْسٍ nafsin soul · لَّمَّا lammā but has · عَلَيْهَا ʿalayhā over it · حَافِظٌ ḥāfiẓ a guardian
