Qur'an 86:17 At-Tariq
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا
So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
Saheeh International
What it says
The instruction that closes the surah is not a counterattack. Having just been told that the plotting is already answered from above, the Prophet ﷺ is told to do nothing about it and wait, and the waiting is handed to him with a short measure attached.
