Qur'an 80:3 Abasa
وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified
Saheeh International
What it says
The address turns to the second person. What would let you know. The question is less a scolding than a statement about the limits of what any person standing in a room can see. The man who looks least promising may be the one about to grow.
