Qur'an 72:1-2 Al-Jinn

Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed to me that a group of the jinn listened and said, 'Indeed, we have heard an amazing Qur'an.It guides to the right course, and we have believed in it. And we will never associate with our Lord anyone.

What it says · verse 1

A command to report, not to argue. What the Prophet ﷺ knows of that night's audience he knows by revelation: a small party of jinn stopped, listened, and went back to their people with a verdict. Their word for what they heard is ʿajab, the thing there is no precedent to measure against.
