Qur'an 69:7 Al-Haqqah

Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees.

Saheeh International

What it says

The wind is given a term: seven nights and eight days running, husuman, one after another with nothing between. Then the scene left behind, bodies laid out where they had been standing, compared to the stumps of palms. A'jaz are the lower ends of trunks, so what is left is not a tree but the base of one, and khawiyah says it is empty inside.
