Qur'an 1:6 Al-Fatiha
ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Guide us to the straight path -
Saheeh International
What it says
The only request in the surah, and it is made by people who are already praying. Guidance here is not a door you walk through once. It is asked for again in the next prayer, by the same person, because it is being asked for the next few hours and not for the rest of a life.
